Good for you, Good for the community. We call this Karma Yoga, a branch of Yoga that focuses not on what you can do for yourself but what you can contribute to the world around you!

Receive and give: Receive a wonderful class restoring your body and soul, what giving whatever you like or can in exchange. We welcome you with love and appreciation.

Whatever is said about Veronica Gerardini, will not be enough.

The love and compassion she has is limitless and I have never come across anyone more selfless. She currently hosts over 90 cats at her home, many of them severely injured and recovering.

Please take a moment to look at her Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/veronica.gerardini.1
you will instantly see what is going on and I'm sure your heart will melt.

A word from Veronica:

"I entered the rescue world, 15 years ago. I have rescued rehabilitated re-homed hundreds and hundreds of dogs and cats.
All procedure is very stressful anxious from vet expences to their food and keep them safe.

But at the end, watching them in their forever homes, it is worthy.
I do what I do out of compassion and kindness towards animals because we are their voice.

I wish one day to have our own place and be happy and safe "
Alexia Berta will start hosting monthly restorative yoga classes at the Collective starting on the 25th of November to help the cats and Veronica.

You are warmly invited to join and all the proceeds will go directly to paying vets bills. Even if you don't really like cats or have strong opinions on the matter, please take a little moment out of your day to check Veronica's profile.

We are all responsible for one another and to be a conscious, kind and spiritual human being, is to remember that we are all related. All connected, all one.

When we care for one another, we care for ourselves, we care for the divine.
There is no higher act in this lifetime.
Please share this post with your circle and join us on the 25th.
Let love rule

* The minimum suggested donation for this class is 15 euro and is not included in the class pass rate.

*** All proceeds will go directly to Veronica for the care of these cats and there will be full transparency, including vet receipts posted on her profile for all to see.
About Restorative Yoga:

Restorative yoga is a completely different experience than most other styles of yoga.It is a restful practice that encourages you to slow down and open your body through passive stretching.
While energetic styles of yoga focus on muscular engagement, restorative yoga relaxes your muscles by using props to support your body. In some restorative postures, you will also receive a gentle stretch. In restorative yoga poses are held anywhere from five to 20 minutes.

The benefits of restorative yoga are similar to the many benefits of other styles of yoga, including:

Increased relaxation: Deep breathing calms the nervous system to promote relaxation, and research supports a restorative yoga practice as an effective way to relax. One study suggests restorative yoga is more effective for inducing relaxation than regular passive stretching.

Better sleep: The more relaxed you are, the better your chances are for a good night's rest. Researchers determined that yoga is an effective intervention for managing sleep problems by increasing melatonin and reducing hyperarousal.
Improved well-being: Yoga practices, in general, are commonly associated with improved physical and mental well-being in the general population.

Better mood: Research shows that yoga can help with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders
