ECSTATIC DANCE ENERGY with Ecstatic Dance Limassol: Our ecstatic dances are therapeutic spiritual experiences. A warm hearted gathering for people from all corners of our island and the earth, with the common connection for the love of music and dance. The space is free of judgement, safe and held by the Dance Journey facilitator and DJ.

The dance serves as a form of meditation, helping people cope with stress and to attain serenity. Using only the pure collective energy generated in the space, dancing barefoot, without any substances or mind or body altering mediums, dancers release themselves to the rhythm and move as freely as the music takes them, leading to a feeling of bliss.

No matter if you have danced before or are re-learning to move your body in creative ways, the dance floor invites you to come as you are, to move in your own free form way.

In the ancient and widespread practice of shamanism, ecstatic dance and rhythmic drumming were used to alter consciousness in spiritual practices. Ecstatic sacred dances are known also from religious traditions around the world.

Everyone's experience is their own but dancers often have shared experiences, such as a release of body blockages through heat or energy movement, the release of pent up emotions (sadness, anger, confusion). There may be realisations about dysfunctional thought patterns or new insights, and deeply spiritual or energetic experiences.

Ecstatic Dance can help heal emotional pain and help with the processing emotions, revealing a sense of increased clarity, wellbeing and happiness. Therefore we invite you to come as you are. No need to be happy, or "in the mood" or to be anything or anyone at all. Just you.

A word on our Cacao from Alexia Berta:

"The medicine of Mama Cacao has been a catalyst for my spiritual development. I have been holding ceremony with the spirit of Cacao as sacred conductor for the past 5 years and have come to develop a very sensitive and refined preference not only towards the taste, but specifically towards the way it harmonises with my body and what the effect of it has been on my nervous system as well as my spiritual body. This extraordinary level of devotion is unique to Balinese culture, and is why this particular ceremonial cacao is such a unique and powerful plant medicine.

The sacred beans are peeled, ground and packaged without any tempering, and without adding or removing anything, resulting in 100% pure cacao, that has been locally sourced in a 100% ethical way.
